National Volunteer Strategy Lead
Alana Allan Alana lives in Ōtautahi and brings corporate and governance experience to her role as National Volunteer Strategy Lead at the Toy Library Federation of New Zealand. After many years in leadership, she shifted into the for-purpose space to focus on community impact, health and building sustainable organisations. At TLFNZ, she’s leading the development of a future-focused national volunteer strategy to strengthen and future-proof toy libraries across Aotearoa. Her work centres on creating scalable systems that help volunteer-led organisations thrive. She’s driven by the power of community and the role play has in helping tamariki and whānau flourish. Advocacy and Funding Project Lead:
Haemia Melling Haemia (pronounced Hay-mee-ya) Melling brings 15+ years of experience in banking; including delivering national mahi focused on social sustainability and community impact. Haemia's learned how to wrangle big-picture strategy while keeping people at the heart of the work. Those skills help her spotlight the value of Toy Libraries across Aotearoa, and find the right partners to keep play open to every tamariki. When she’s not championing toy libraries, she’s running her own ESG consulting business and chasing (at a respectable pace) after her two young boys (and Jeff, their 'very good boy' Labrador) in Cromwell. |
