Toy Library Awareness Week 2013

Thank you to everyone who entered the recent National Play Challenge.

Our congratulations to Gemma Scott from Dunedin whose name was drawn from the entries and recently received her basket of toys.

Gemma completed al the activities, and had fun playing Statutes, finding Care Bear in the Clouds and making a shaker using rice inside a fizzy bottle.

We hope you enjoy your new toys Gemma.

Toy Library Awareness Week is a week of celebrations dedicated to:

  • Increasing awareness and understanding of the nature and importance of Toy Libraries
  • Engaging with your community in active recognition/celebration of Toy Libraries
  • Seeking wider community endorsements and ongoing participation in Toy Libraries

Toy Library Awareness Week coincides with National Children's Day on the first Sunday in March. For more information on National Children's Day check out www.childrensday.org.nz
